Belly Strides is a workshop for our mamas who are a part of our Mother’s Rising Home Visiting Program.
Belly Strides is a biweekly movement class to support your physical wellness journey. These classes alternate between mindful walks around DC’s parks and gentle prenatal/postpartum yoga led by a local yoga instructor.
Our Yoga class provides a gentle exercise that includes breath control, simple meditation, and light stretching. Prenatal yoga is safe for mom and baby, with many health benefits, including relaxation, improved sleep, and increased flexibility in muscles needed for childbirth. Join us biweekly and in person for a calming and centering stretch.
