Breastfeeding Services Overview

At Mamatoto Village, we offer breastfeeding parents a comfortable and supportive place to get the information and strategies needed to feel confident and successful during the breastfeeding experience.

We offer private office, home consultations, and telehealth visits with either a Certified Lactation Specialist or IBCLC depending on the severity of the situation.

Parents receiving their child through adoption, surrogacy, or a non-birth partner can have a breastfeeding relationship, and we can offer guidance in this area as well. Our lactation team can assist with a variety of needs, including:

• latching challenges
• low milk supply
• twins and preemies management
• concerns with infant weight gain
• oral assessment (lip and tongue tie)
• education and assistance with breast pumps
• sore nipples and breast pain
• returning to work
• introducing solids
• Induced lactation for non-birthing parents
• re-lactating
• introducing formula
• pumping
• bra fitting
