Ujamaa Giving Circle

Behind every successful mother is a community committed to supporting her — a Village. Ujamaa, the fourth principle of Kwanzaa, is a commitment to the practice of cooperative economics and the work necessary to achieve it.

Ujamaa Giving Circle members are friends, supporters, and community members–– people like you–– who pledge recurring gifts on a monthly or quarterly basis. As a Ujamaa Giving Circle member, you are joining a community of social change advocates who take action year-round to support our vision of healthy mamas, healthy babies, and healthy communities. By joining today, you will get updates on our work, receive invitations to special events and building tours, and you will be recognized in our annual impact report.

Growing and sustaining the transformative work happening at Mamatoto Village requires generosity, financial investment, and acts of kindness that yield deep impact. Your ongoing support will sustain and advance our work as we serve more Black women and families, train cohorts of community health workers, and provide emergency social resources to our community members.Have questions about the Ujamaa Giving Circle?
